Participants will come to the second week session having memorized a monologue selection (assigned or of their own choosing). We will spend some time workshopping the monologues and working on technique. Participants are not required to, but encouraged to attend both weeks.

Auditioning: Cold Readings, Monologues, Tips & Techniques Part 1

Participants will work on various techniques for auditioning with cold readings and monologues (non-musical), including working on some provided cold reading sides. Tips on proper etiquette and decorum will be shared, including choosing the right monologue for the audition and building a repertoire for future auditions. If interested, participants will be invited to attend the 2nd week session, which will focus on prepared/memorized monologues. It is not required but encouraged to attend both sessions. Participants will be assigned a monologue or may choose their own.
